ABOUT US

Twelve Primax employees walked on the SunTrust Bank team for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and the American Cancer Society, in 2007. We had such a great time that in 2008 we decided to form our own team and the Primax Pink Warriors were born.

We have been the largest team in the city of Charlotte for many years. We have also been the top team in the South East Region for several years, BUT in 2020 and 2021 we were the top fundraising team in the nation. In 2021 we raised over $178,000 and were given the opportunity to name an existing post-doctoral fellowship research grant after our team. We are excited to announce that we have named our research grant the Primax Pink Warriors Fund the Future Legacy Grant. This 3 year grant focuses on DNA and aims to define the role of the protein LC8 and the touseled-like kinases in the DNA repair pathway to give cancer patients the best possible outcome. In 2022 our team raised over $182,000 which is our highest year of fundraising ever! 

We continue to support the American Cancer Society and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer because we believe in the services they offer to breast cancer patients and their caregivers. We also believe in the life saving research they fund because we need a cure. We honor the survivors by encouraging them through their breast cancer battle, and we celebrate with them, as they reach treatment milestones.

This site is about raising awareness for early detection, building our team, and continuing to raise money for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and the American Cancer Society.
